You're kidding me, right?  $64.95 for four games for a PocketPC?  *THIS* is that we've been waiting for???  I guess I'll wait until it hits the $10 shelf  during the Amiga Inc bankruptcy sale.

Outrageous.

There is a download version as well, for $29.95.
A little less steep.

I don't think tht page will encourage many people to buy it. They need a few more pics and a lot better desciption.

I wonder if it will be availble in shops, I think thats the best hope for this product.

I'd like to know why it's only available in the US, surely the whole point of downloading the software is people can get it from anywhere, quickly and easily.

Plus the AA site really does need to be redesigned (typos and all ;-)), it doesn't inspire much.

The card version is sold only in the US. The download version is sold everywhere (of course). It's quite clear on the website, only a little unclearly phrased in the news-item here on Amiga.org. ;-)

Coming to think of it - is this all that new? They announced something like this several weeks ago:

http://www.amiga-anywhere.com/microsoft/index.shtml

And this "new" stuff haven't appeared on amiga.com's main page.

Is it that it comes on a card as well that is new? Or didn't we see any prices before now?

I really hope that games and apps becomes more advanced on the AmigaAnywhere platform. Right now I dont think the excisting software can attrackt much more than a very small crowd.

For $65 you cold easily snap yourself a (used) GameBoy-Color
and better games. Maybe even for $30.

If thats all they got to offer after over two years, i'll say better a
horrible end than a endless horror.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Hey, guys!! - This stuff might not appeal to us, but to those who have one or more PDA's and spend al of time commuity, it may :)

They'll sell a lot of these, maybe to no one you know, but theres heaps of people with these PDA's out there, and they'll be bought!

Not at $65, they're not.  Most PDA users are used to buying games for $10 - $15 without having to buy the card.  It also doesn't make any sense for multiple PDA users to buy it in software form and have to sync it to multiple machines, or to have to buy an additional "SD?!?!?!" card to move it between machines.

Granted, if your Windows PDA doesn't support SD cards, it's your only route...  Personally, I think this is like the idea of electronic comic books.   Pointless and overblown.
