1. Make an announcment. 2. Wait a while. 3. Check if it can actually be done. 4. Wait for someone else to do it. 5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports. 6. Deny that you have ever announced it 7. Blame someone else
It fits quite well to the Amiga-situation

Features are always good and it does indeed work very fast. But I'm somewhat confused - what is it good for? I'm not trying to bring Wayne down here, I just don't see any obvious advantage of routing e-mail through here only to have it arrive at my normal address.. Is it only to be able to have an e-mail including the word 'amiga' or are there some other boon of using this system? Considering the other exalted replies everyone seem to have understood but me. Fill me in! . SlimJim
Advantage? Dunno, guess it's like getting a free full color boing ball image on your business card :-)
If you put your username@amiga.org address in the reply-to field of your client, you can also send mail as being from amiga.org.... Just a point of community spirit I'd suppose.
I am not sure, but I would think that one can use the xxx@amigaorg address and whenever you change your other email (like changing ISP) then you will still get your email and won't have to update everyone of your new email address.
