Has anyone used AmiPC Linkup?
« on: September 24, 2003, 12:39:19 AM »
I have been using AmigaExplorer to exchange files between my Amiga and PC. But my serial port has died.

Has anyone used AmiPC Link up? Its a parallel port solution that sells for about $30

Is it any good?

Thanks :-D

Was it easy to install on the Amiga side? Will it fit on a floppy disk?

I only have an A500+ with a hard drive, no CDRom etc.

So transfering files is a real pain, and floppy disks often get check sums.

yep it was a piece of cake to install, the Amiga software comes on an amiga formatted floppy and the PC software comes on a CD with a few other things on if my memory is correct.
