Intel, and today is no different. AMD has announced its new
HyperTransport technology designed to free computers from many of the common internal bottle necks. HyperTransport is 24x faster than PCI and offers upto 6.4Gigs of internal bandwidth. Many companies are planning to release products based on the new technology soon including Broadcom, Cisco, Nvidia, and Sun Microsystems.
