OS3.1-help
« on: September 19, 2003, 08:00:14 PM »
I have been keeping my original copy of OS3.1 as a backup in case I ever need it, which I have on a couple of occasions.  Now the workbench disk has become corrupted.  Unfortunately, I don't have another copy.  Can anyone think of a way to get a new disk without having to buy a whole copy of 3.1 (if that is even possible anymore)?

The most controversial suggestion would be to look for it on the net.

You could always find a copy on the internet/from a friend and write it to another disk.  I'm not entirely sure if this is a breach of copyright or not, but since you'll end up with essensially the same WB disk that you had in the first place I don't see any problems.  Other people may have different views...

Thanks for the info.  Where on the web would I look for this?
