Also the guy is stating opinions not trolling which you guys always cry "troll" when you don't like someones thoughts/opinions on something.

Blah, blah, blah. Nonsense. People like you and MarkTime are always good at shouting "Opinion" if it suits your need, and "trolling" when it's the other way around.

Very nice of you that you deny me the right to defend myself. Everytime somebody of us tries to set some nonsense right, some one like you come up with this ####.

I dont think hyperion has ever set a release date yet, it is amigainc that has broken release dates time after time...

Never ever seen Hyperion standing up and saying: "It's nonsense". It will be rude, and just an opinion, but I think it was their interest to keep up the enthusiasm and the feeling of immediate release, preventing their potentional customers from going elsewhere. Speculation though, and I beg for being corrected.

@ Warface

Do you honestly think the situation for anyone of us is *EASY* ?

With a firm budget, you can give firm release date. Anything else, and you're up to the usual sidetracking to get your bills paid. That's the exact reason why we're not giving release dates. And contrary to some other companies, Hyperion *has* delivered in the past. That not everything goes according to plans should be clear, and you shouldn't blame us for failed projects when you know nothing about why it failed.

The situation is hard for everyone. The problem is that some people dwell on this. There's no need for MarkTime to post that crap. Why he did it is beyond me. There can only be one reason: He enjoys trolling. And IMHO, that's the sick part. If people wouldn't go around trolling, crap like this could be spared. But no, it must be. And I'm stupid enough to think that I shouldn't let this crap catch on... Well, so be it.

Also note the manner in which MarkTime presents his "opinion". Not:

"I don't think OS4 will ever be out on the CSPPC"

instead:

"OS4 will never be released on CSPPC"

marktime, as my self waiting... for the new amiga os4 and hard ware, things have been mighty slow. but i believe it will show up and every one will have what they want. Amiga ,Bill McEwen knows whats at risk here, things have to be done near perfect there won't be a second chance at trying to win people over. when os4 is released we will see a change in attitude in both the Amiga community and the pc world. yes i quess we could consider the A1 the new power up board ,but amiga are moving to the future some things might well be left behind. but Bill McEWEN "Amiga" has made efforts to even keep the classic owner happy, and i think they did this with os3.9 at least  i'am happy with my classic and maybe you'll be suprised and be made happy too! so far as i see it amiga has made great efforts to appeal to every ones needs, but at last there will come the day i will have to put the classic away. And i hope os4 and A1 will take its place and i hope that day is very near. any way this is just my thoughts to offer, just as you offer your thoughts. :-)

okay, That's enough. No good can come from this.

OS4 will be here when it gets here, like a fine wine it will not be ready before its time.

Enough playing in the Devil's Playground of Speculation.

As such this topic is now locked as it was on a fast track to flaming infero. Trolling and Flaming

marktime: so this is what happened to csppc/bppc version of mos1.x ?

thanx for telling us.

about os4 , yes i am tired of waiting...and waiting...and waiting..

but as a note , i rather be in a community where all is/was and to be perfect , sadly the amiga community doesnt have this anymore and that goes for the morphos side aswell, people throwing dirt at every attempt and nearly always makes people crazy(ER), in the end it all will fall back on ya.

i can be a troll myself, sure i ain't saying anything diffrent but why i have troll status?`, easy ... i dont like people who throw #### in your face and you can't throw back, and thats what the community is about atm... MUDSLINGING!

we have 3 forums that is more or less very active , 1 that is the so called "ANON.lu" and one that is not about amiga anymore just about what it can emulate and a third one where they don't respect THE REAL AMIGA users who are using ibrowse2.3 and ask you to use a pc to read/view the site properly , so all in all...we live in a wonderfull AMIGA "NOT SO COMPATIBLE" community.

i rate the all sites as top notch except for anon.lu but beeing abit more "friendly" would'nt hurt.

please take note , i added this to the thread after trying delibrately to see some EFFECT.

peace out, frustration level 10/10.

Whats up with all the hate!
