I don't use PSA at all, but I recall some discussion on the beta2 mailing list about saving/loading is not self explanatory, and how to do that.

Guess it helps little, if anything...

Hi,
sorry to drag this up again but I still can't re-open a previously
saved project/session (not sure what the distinction is there either).

I created a session called 'test', plopped some wavs in the timeline,
saved it, quit and reloaded PSA.
If I try to open it as a project, it appears to load but has nothing
in the timeline, etc - i.e. it loads an apparently empty project.

If I try to open it as a session, I get "Accessing sessions outside
their drawer is not allowed".

What am I doing wrong here?

Cheers,s

so, you MUST create a Project first.

1-hit Amigadx + n

2-chose a Freq rate and duration from the window

3-chose a dir and give a name in the ASL req.

Now begin to import in the timeline a sample (hitting "i")

when the sample is loaded, press Return.

Now begin to experiment and when you are ready, chose from the menu Save session or Save Session As.

So inside that project dir, you can have many session you like.

Let me know

Ciao

oops- to open egain the desired Project with its Session:

1-hit Amigadx + P and chose from the ASL req, the saved project ONLY.

2-Now hit Amigadx + o (open session) and chose "unnamed" (if you have saved the session with Save only, or with the given name if you havs saved the session with SaveAs).

Just saw this - cheers.

Too late to try it tonight but will hopefully have time tomorrow.

@Framiga:

Thanks for all your help.

Tonight I managed to create a track, mix down and burn to CD with
MakeCD.
Only problem was with MakeCD.

Looks like I'm getting somewhere - yay! :pint:

Dragged up again......

I've managed to construct a project using several tracks but now i
keep getting "***Application is meditating***", almost instantly,
every time I load the project.

I'm not expecting anyone to be able to solve this yet but I had to
vent - it's driving me nuts! :-X

Some good news at last!
(No, really!)

Anyone wishing to record directly to PSA, do the following:

Click "Information" in PSA Icon menu;
Click "New" under ToolTypes;
Type "IN_DRIVER=AHIin";
Click "Save".

Et voilá.

You can now record direct to the peggy.
