BUG: Avatar not working inside social group

Just a thought, but has he loaded a profile pic as well as an avatar.

They are two separate items in VBulletin. I think the Social groups thingy picks up the profile pic. Just a hunch.

I only uploaded 1 pic.  And it automagically appears everywhere on the site.  So you are saying Wayne suddenly reconfigured the site to require 2 different pic uploads?

I don't think it makes any sense for everyone to have 2 different avatars, 1 for forums and 1 for groups.  That seems silly and confusing.  That would be almost as lame as having a gigantic, blocky, ugly, primitive font greet every user on the homepage.  Wayne would never do that.

It's not "something Wayne did" it's just the way it works, and it makes perfect sense if -- for example -- you want to use a whimsical icon in the forums but a picture of yourself for your own private area, or the podcasting you can do, or the facebook linking you can do, or... or...

Quit being so negative or I'll have to rip out your spleen for an eBay sale..   (hahaha)

Oh that's right, can't sell body parts on e-bay, but last I heard, I could stuff it in a decorative jar and sell the jar as a unique, one of a kind eh?

No what I am stating is that Vbulletin as default has two different pictures you can upload. One is an avatar and one is called a profile pic.

I am a moderator on another (not computer related) Vbulletin site so I am familiar with the software.

I was just using a guestimate as to what might be the problem. Was only trying to help. :rolleyes:

Oh and we've got the message now about you not liking the topaz in the font. :p

Sorry about sounding negative... but dam that horrid looking font puts me in a bad mood.  I have been using beautiful smooth fonts on my Amigas since 1987.  I worked on City Desk desktop publishing software if you can remember back that far.  Thousands of Amiga users used it to print awesome newsletters, etc. on 300 dpi laserprinters.  That was in the olden days before Professional Page and Pagestream took over.

Buddy, I'm just messing with you and trying to break the tension and all that really...  As for the font, you can vote on it just like everyone else, though I cannot possibly fathom how a font could possibly change a mood.

Set a tone, like lend to the idea that this is Amiga.org, yes, but last I checked, fonts weren't on the mood altering substances list.
