« on: May 17, 2009, 03:24:47 AM »
The mobile.amiga.org site is back online.

Please note that use of that service requires your portable device to accept cookies and will not work without them.

If you previously bookmarked the site, you may need to re-bookmark it, as the redirection URL has changed.

Honestly, I haven't had a chance to test it since the front page changed and the swapover happened Saturday.  Anyone else having an issue?

The Amiga.org link in the top center still points to amiga.org/forums rather than amiga.org/ (unless that's intentional).

If you're asking about the Mobile theme, then yes, it's intentional.  Imagine if will, all the data from the full AO theme trying to be displayed on your average iPhone or nokia.

Unfortunately for mobile users (particularly non-iphone users) there's really no good way to do multi-column displays.

To be honest I prefer using the normal site on my iPhone... It works just fine and I'm getting used to it... No need to mess around really!

Nokia E90 also works well on the normal site, typing on it now! Of course, the 800x352 screen helps!!!

Testing (sony ericsson k800) ...

Ok, that worked but it's a bit convoluted. I cant use the quick reply as the box remains unselectable. It seems all the reply buttons send me there but I have to submit a blank message, then write the reply when it complains. Weird...
