Hi,

Title says it all.  I have no accelerator in my A3000 and can't source affordable ZIP so I was wondering if using my Series-II card with 8mb would be a workable alternative for now. At least I could move my FastRAM dips to max my chipmem out.

Thanks,
Tim

Expect for a slower machine in the near future.

It works? Of course it will. But Zorro II memory is dead slow compared to onboard faster (treated as Z-III) memory.

The GVP SCSI is way better than original C=, that's the only point in using a GVP HC+8.
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

lol.  sure it will work.  however the extra money for ZIP memory is worth the extra significant speed. :-D

I have seen on ebay and maybe on here before a simm>A3000 convertor, allowing you to plug into the zip sockets and has a couple of simm slots on top.

edit: pics

looks like DJbase on here makes them.

Really? Better than the A2091, granted, but as a Zorro II card in an A3000?
