1084S Problem

When the screen is white or bright colors the top part gets much brighter than the bottom half and the screen waves a little . Also the sound dims when it does this .
Otherwise with most stuff it is fine except for bright white .
Is it a small capictor prob or something ?

It's probably a capacitor (or two) since it affects both picture and sound I'd start with the power supply.

I'd agree, sounds like power supply alright, check for bad capacitors in the power supply area, and also bad solder joints, cracks etc. in the same area.
