...anyone interested in astronomy.

Do you know of the phenomenon planet X or the Nibru theory?
What is it all about?

Phil Plait has an extensive debunking of the "Planet X nonsense" on his site Bad Astronomy

The basic theory is that there's an additional planet in our solar system on a long elliptical orbit that we either haven't or can't see and sooner or later it's going to wipe us out or some such garbage.

Wasn't that the plot of a cheesy 50's scifi b movie?

Rogue planet heading toward the earth, human race builds a space ship to send people onto the rogue to colonise it as they know they can't stop it?
