Amiga Gaming on the Wii?
« on: February 28, 2009, 05:27:13 PM »
I received my Wii news this morning and they had a listing for 3 games: The Last Ninja, Pitstop II, and International Karate.  I thought, those sound familiar!  When I looked closer at the ad it stated that the Virtual Console emulation was a C64!

It's official, although Nintendo hasn't added the C64 to the list of emulated systems, you can play C64 games on the Wii.  They are selling for $5 each.

Now for the big question, anyone heard anything about Amiga games coming for the console??

Bob

The C64 was added quite a while ago in Europe, though I haven't bought any C64 games myself. I have a feeling that the Amiga won't make an appearance on the VC (apart from the homebrew efforts), but that's just a feeling :-)

Just get Homebrew working on there... there`s an Amiga emulator... it plays surprisingly well.. although KO2 is a nightmare to control with the mote!!
