How do you make .info files?
« on: February 22, 2009, 10:46:27 PM »
Maybe this is a dumb question, but I can't find anything on the web.   Say I have a file or drawer I would like to show up in WB.  How would I go about making my own .info file for it?   (I know you can turn on show all.)   I'm curious about these mysterious .info files...

You can use a Tool called IconEdit which can make a dot info file for: Disks, Drawers, Tools (Programs), or Projects (data files).

And for generic icons I use DOpus's AddIcon button to create one. You can also copy an existing one from the shell, IE
Code: [Select]
copy sys:utilities.info work:mynewdrawer.info
