List of Amiga games for mobile phones
« on: February 19, 2009, 03:12:15 PM »
I recently was thinking of mobile gaming based on Amiga vintage games.  So I would like to ask all of you about experience here.  This might be really useful for anybody, I also would like to get some amiga game on my phone.

Please include original name, platform and possibly a link

As stated before:

Pinball Dreams        iPhone
Pinball Fantasies     iPhone     link

I know

Lemmings           s60    link

I promise to dig in today evening so that I can add much more.
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

One more - Turrican

I'll try to make some comprehensive list but first have to figure out a way to google for it.

I can see there's a lot of this - found this eab thread

I think the best way to find it out is simply to take someone's top 10 titles and search Handango against it.

But of course, it heavily depends on a phone, also its OS, as far as I know, most mobile games are released for Symbian s60.

I hate mobile phones I would not have one if you paid me.

In fact the annoying things ought to be banned from public places.

Two great classics are available for mobiles as well:

Speedball 2
Chaos Engine

Both of them Java. I used to have them on my Samsung Z400.

I use one only for emergency purposes, and I understand your sentiment.  But think of it in *this* case as a mobile gaming device that may introduce some people to cool classic Amiga stuff.  Who knows, some of these phonies may even become future Amiga users.

Well, if you had to share this here...

But if you were working in business, they would force you to bear one, that's for sure.

About me honestly, the thing I hate most is a soap.  No one will ever make me use it.

Then you must vote for socialists since their key selling point is to ban stuff "to protect poor little children from any disturbances".

Besides, getting annoyed frequently without a reason might be a sign of some serious health problems.  So go and check it unless you know already.

There's a company called Amiga Inc who's sole business is producing Amiga games for mobile phones.
