Amiga Flash-like apps

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a program for the Amiga that would allow animations to be (hyper?)linked together and chosen by the user by clicking on hotspots on the screen.

Is this even possible on the Amiga, or do such screens have to be static?

One of the old Authoring Systems might do what you want - CanDo, AmigaVision, maybe even Scala.

Also look into the modern-day solutions of Hollywood / Designer.

I've tried Hollywood, however that doesn't like interactive animations.

I had heard of Scala, but haven't been able to find any documentation that will tell me if this is possible.

Does anyone happen to know if it is possible to create a standalone application with Scala (so the end user doesn't need the software)?

Also, is it possible to make buttons any shape other than square/oblong?

I think I'd prefer to use AmigaVision, however Scala is more readily available and it also looks as though I could port it to other modern systems using Malibu/Hollywood.
