Anyone got any ideas of what I could do with my MAS Player (think it's Pro) I haven't used in ages?

Hook it up to a CDTV and put it on top of your VCR/DVD player..

I've been thinking about putting it in a custom case with an A1200 motherboard, A CD-ROM drive, a 030 card and making it auto-play MP3s, or something like that. :)

..the thing is, I know practically nothing about making cases etc. Could be a learning experience. :)

On this subject does anyone know where I can buy one of these MAS's? The online shop that the website directs you to appears to have been hacked and I have no idea where I can by the MAS chip as a single, everywhere sells it in bulk.

@jumpship.
 Dunno about the chip, but Eyetech were selling the MASplayer last time I looked.

After reading this thread, I didn`t realise how many people were using them. I`ve built my own MP3 jukebox out of a 1200, that I can control over my network, or infra red remote control.

Just got the case to go, and maybe change over from AT to ATX PSU. Time allowing, I`ll iron out all the bugs in the software and actually get round to releasing it!  (although that timeframe is months rather than weeks at the moment :-( )

Maybe something like this? :-D

There are also other projects for an Amiga in a Car and with a program that says the route but I don`t remember any URLs

The routeplanner would be useful at home..I would finally be able to find the fridge and the bathroom when I`m drunk ;-)

(Trust me, you don`t wanna get those two mixed up)
