@AmiDude:

LOL! I agree: buy Alexh's A4000! He's making a good point for it ;-)

Now be aware, Alexh is one of the most price sensitive blokes around here, so he'll definitely find this as a bit over the usual deal. And I will have to agree with his assessment on that. He also seems to have the patience of a boa and can hold off for that one "killer" deal, so that also helps in realizing the better prices! ;-)

@Alexh:

Let the guy buy what he wants! He doesn't want (or get) maths, he wants Amiga! I think he's pretty set on that :-)

@Painkiller:

Your "on the way" A4000's mobo has had a (battery or capacitor) leakage (visible in one of the photos) :-(  It doesn't seem severe though and would be an easy cleanup.

Yeah I noticed that. Pretty sure it is the capasitor. It seems a bit damaged from the edges. Easy to fix as the damage doesn't look bad and I have replacement caps in storage :)

So you guys think it's a little bit overpriced?
Well, I'm sure that the current exchange rates
has something to do with that. The US$/BP are
very low compared with the EU€. In the US and
GB this A4000 is more expensive then in Europe.

449 Euro or 585 US$.
Phase 5 Blizzard 4030 68030/50Mhz + MMU CPU board. ( Optional 68882/50Mhz FPU ).
* Kickstart ROMs 3.1 (v40.68). ( Neccesary for installing O.S. 3.5/3.9 ).
* 2MB Chip RAM - 16MB Fast RAM memory.
* Original Chinon FB-357A 1.76mb / 880k HD floppy disk drive
* New clock battery.
* yellowed mouse/keyboard.

my pricetag on it would have been : max US $400 or 308 Euro.
but getting a mobo that is fully functional is a plus (no battery ever spilled on it).

There are no goodies on at the moment but you'd be amazed how many "Amga accellerator" and "cybertsorm turboakrte" cards go cheap.

Great link! Thanks for sharing it Alexh!

But surely patience is one of your virtues. ( The other being, obviously, the obsession with Thalion GmbH, as of course it is for me as well :-) Ah.. the incredible hackery that lies within LionHeart... Just incredible!)
