FS: Bunch of CD32 games
« on: January 23, 2009, 08:28:44 PM »
I ended up with some duplicates after buying a big 'ol lot of CD32 stuff (from who I wonder?...).   Keep in mind these are all in jewel cases, and jewel cases don't have the best shelf life - some of the hinges are broken, cases cracked, etc.  They're standard jewel cases (except for Pirates! which is in cardboard which is fine) so you can replace them as needed.  If I hadn't trashed all my extra jewel cases like an idiot, I'd do it myself :P

Note!  Please know what you're buying!  Some of these games are PAL-only or run with issues on NTSC televisions.   Your CD32 can output PAL, but you'll need a 1080/1084 monitor or a television that can accept a PAL signal.  Most people that own a CD32 in the US know this already, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

No hits?  Am I overcharging or ? :)  Or is just a lack of demand?

It's just way too easy to pirate these games.

That, and unless the game happens to be someone's favorite, they're probably out looking for cheap deals on big lots of games too.

Makes sense.  I was pirating them for a bit, but I'd rather have the real thing instead of a copy (I'm to just around 100 CD32/CDTV disks).  I'll give it a bit more time, maybe try Amibay and then off to Ebay.

Do CD32 games work on any other Amiga models, such A1200?

They do for the most part, though I know some have issues depending on your CDROM interface.  I think there's a compatibility list on the net.
