recently got hold of a MicroniK SCANDY it seemed to work sort of
ghosting and oblique lines and reddish color drifting across full screen. removed it carefully from lisa to see whats up there seems to some of the plastic spacers missing between the contacts some of the contacts  scewif  I straitened the pinny contacts things carefully and
 I returned it to lisa but now a black screen no luck
have removed the whole bloody thing?
any reasonable sugestions greatfully accepted

however the A1200 runs well otherwise

There seem to be some spelling missing too :-p

Are all the pins there? Are any of them bent or broken? Perhaps they need a good cleaning (cheap way: use rubbing alcohol and some cotton swabs or an eraser on a pensil). Anything smell funny, as if burned? Is the orientation right when you're plugging it?
