Best advice is to strip it all down and add one device at a time.
I ran 3.9 on my A4000T with original PSU and these items:

Cyberstorm PPC with 128mb
Picasso IV
Yamaha SCSI CD rewriter
9gb HD on Cyberstorm SCSI
4gb HD on internal SCSI
1gb HD on internal SCSI
DKB3128 with 128mb

I then got an ATX PSU (350W) with AT converter and added these items:

2 x DKB3128
1 x Kickflash with a Subway USB attached
1 x IDE to CF adapter and 512mb card

Mine boots fine but I have a config problem with the Kickflash at the moment. I am getting recoverable alerts, but haven't had time to investigate.

Again thanks eveyone,

Slight update, I was able to boot the A4KT, 3.9 and everything, but no drives hooked up to the CS showed up... Maybe there's some confict with 3.9 and the CS scsi interface. ? Well, I'm gonna sleep on it, and as suggested, just strip the 4000T down, and add a bit at a time.

Anyone familiar with the CS Mk3 flash updates? Should I install the latest 'official' P5 release, or the slightly newer 'private' releases?

X-Ray: Nice machine you have! Man, I wish I could find room/cash to cram a DKB 3128 into mine...

I wonder if I should replace the PSU while I have the machine in pieces already...

Your setup is also nice...I wouldn't mind having a toaster setup if I was in NTSC land.

I flashed the latest non-official version. It's done by the same programmer, Ralf Schmidt, I believe.

That depends on your cash situation. I will say that power supplies are full of capacitors that do not age well. It's not uncommon for old supplies to be out of spec even though they still operate. The 4000T is just a bog standard AT power supply so they are cheap too. Replacing the power supply helps rule out a common problem that is often difficult to diagnose. It's also handy to have an extra supply to swap in and out for test purposes.
