Amiga Announces New Line of Consumer Applications


So they've spent a entire year getting into a mobile phone catalogue and developing two apps. a tip calculator and a pirate snowman card maker!

They expect people to pay for a Tip calculator... There are about 50 free ones on the App Store... And they do other cool things like split the bill, convert between currancies (auromatically via a live link to xe.com)... I guess Ray is getting better at programming now and has managed to copy out Example 2.3 from his "VB for dummies" book...

hahaha, ok just trying to think about the shear volume if code required to make the tip calculator work:

Looks like three calculations at three different percents.  We don't tip here in Oz either, but it seems to me you could easily figure 10% by moving the decimal.  The other App creates weird snowmen.   I can't think of anyone I would send a weird snow man to.
