I sold it, an Amiga 3000, in 1999! But thanks to EBay I've got a 3000 again.
- People who hate Windows use Linux but people who love UNIX use BSD.
- Never forget the AMIGA. No computer in history ever made such a big step forward.

I use cardboard box my A500 came in to store an Atari STe!

I used an old iron core A500 PSU (minus cables) as a door wedge in the conservatory.

Argonaut Software used an un-powered A3000 as nothing more than monitor stand for the receptionists PC for 5 years or more before I rescued it in 1998.

Loaned my first A500 to a friend and never got it back. (My fault, not his.)

Loaned my external 3.5" DD drive to a friend and never got it back. (His fault, not mine.)

Grounded the business side of my A1200 motherboard to its tower chassis. Summoned magic smoke. Killed serial port, sound, and probably other things. Replacement in hand but not installed.

Fried one of my RRNet cards connecting it to a clockport cable the wrong way around. (The cable was striped correctly, but the IDC connectors were on backwards--or something. Regardless, dead RRNet.)

Unless you meant "worst" in a moral or ethical sense, in which case, I was a 14 year old with a modem. I downloaded contraband just like the rest of the kiddies. I'm sure I called people names, too, and lied about being 18 to join adult boards.

I am into 3d raytracing. The worst possible thing I ever did was to load 'imagine' and try to model in it.

Not my doing, but funny still...

About 10 years ago, a guy at the university donated a couple of A2000 boxes to our computer club. These two machines had been used by the administration up to quite recently at the time, which pussles us a bit... amigas in univ administration?

When we booted them up, they came up with old 1.x workbench, and then an almost full screen window was opened and ancient MSDOS was started in it, and finally the application of the administration people had been using. We opened them up and found a couple of 8088-based cards in the zorro+isa slots. So for years and years these two poor amigas had been used for nothing than running MSDOS applications - how bad is that?!

Anyways, it turned out that these were the more or less useless german made A2000-A models, with zorro1-ish bus, odd keyboards (I suspect compatible with CDTV). They were also very yellow and greasy, probably from smoking. Soon after we got them, the PSUs died, and since they require a PSU with "tick", they ended up in the attick.

oh, and I wrote a "wargames dialer" in AmigaBASIC and had my Amiga 500 running it.  LOL!  that was fun.

Yeah...  Most all my moral problems with an Amiga came from back in my high school days and involved a phone line.

I helped run a few pirate BBS over the years.

Stole a list of phone number and modem settings off a teacher's desk.  I had no idea what it was.  I was hoping it was a grading computer.  Instead, I ended up on Merit/MichNet and was quite mystified by it's size and complexity.  (Hey... This was 1990?  How many high school kids were really aware of the size of the internet back then?)

I might have accidentally crashed the school's attendance computer once, too.  (Really, I was just trying to find an easy way to tie up the phone line the automated system uses to notify parents when their kids skip classes.  I wasn't really expecting it would have a terminal I could connect to...)

On a more funny note, 'say' can make some HILARIOUS prank calls.  DSS8 can mask a voice pretty well, too.
