Missing SCSI-HD PFS partitions when using PFS on CF->A4000 IDE
« on: December 23, 2008, 05:17:54 PM »
Hi,

I am using PFS on my A4000 WarpEngine SCSI HD.  When I format the CF card that I have on my IDE as FFS, everything is fine.  However, when I format the CF as PFS also, my SCSI boot partition shows up fine but my other SCSI partitions suddenly show up as 'unrecognized'.

Any ideas? :-?

Perhaps different version of PFS put to CF card's RDB. If used, it prevents the one from the SCSI HDD from loading.

If you really must use different filesystem versions, use different dostype for each.
