Those are the "cable" pcmcia cards right?
I've googled and I've found that there's one called:
Lucent Orinoco Gold 802.11b, that is normally used with Amigas.
There are several different versions of this card? Or I can go safe buying one labeled like that?

Hi...

listen ... most of PCMCIA work fine. The only thing you have to pay attention is your router. You must use DCHP and pay attention to the syntax of the WEP Key!
After doing this you'll be on line in few seconds!
Amiga 1200 into a DBox Tower with PPC603e@166Mhz040 256MB Mediator PCI SX - Ide-Fix Express OS4 Classic Voodoo3 Fast Ethernet - A1200 030@40MHZ - A2000 030@25MHZ - A500 - A500+ - A600 - C64 + MMC REPLAY!!!

I already use DHCP on my Linksys router and I'm not using WEP, I'm using MAC address filter. I think that will work fine!

Check the manual included in the prism2.device archive.

WTF? You can use DHCP, but you DON'T need it. I prefer static addresses on all computers on my LAN, including my A1200 with wireless card.

Anyway check the included docs from prism2.device archive as suggested. I have used Orinoco and Lucent Silver cards, but Bronze and Gold should work too. Gold card supported 128bit WEP while Silver only supports 64bit WEP etc..
Daily MorphOS user and Amiga active.

I know WEP is the only option when it comes to Amiga PCMCIA WLAN security, but it has to be stated: WEP is useless for providing security. It's trivial to crack it, don't use WLAN-ified A1200s and A600s for anything which you don't want to be seen by other people (and MAC filtering doesn't provide security either, MAC addresses are easily spoofed).
