WTB: Working CDTV power supply
« on: November 29, 2008, 07:54:32 PM »
Yup. I have a sweet cherry CDTV with nuked PS as mentioned in previous threads. No charity, please. I am buying to most likely re-sell the CDTV soon. I just am not finding the time to repair this fried PS.

Name price plus shipping to zip 33317 (Florida, USA).

Sure, if I wanted to get $0.01 + shipping for it. Besides, I also have a bunch of CDTV goodies to test before I sell them.

Actually, You might be suprised.
I would probably bid up to a hundred bucks again for a nice one without a working P/S, but thats just me.
I have Amiga stuff for sale at http://amigalounge.com. You can follow my builds there also.

Have you opened it up to see how bad it is?  Can you see the silkscreen on the PCB or did it catch fire?

It let out a good bit of blue smoke when it went an there is some discoloration on the top of the inside of the power supply. Doesn't appear to have caught fire. I suspect a total re-cap would fix it, but I don't seem to have the time.
