I think it's the same as here:

hm, I very much doubt it... it seems that most of the bottom row on this one is GND, unlike your link.

This flat cable I talk about does not connect card with VGA connector, it connects two cards: CV64/3D and its scandoubler ('daughterboard').
Better sorry than worry.

Edit: I wrongly thought the CV64/3D has a VGA input for switching but after examining more closely it's an output connector.

@orange
I have just examined some photo's and the CV64/3D manual and found that the internal monitor switcher is not on the Cybervision itself as I thought but instead on the Phase5 scandoubler module itself. This also means that the internal connector on the CV64/3D is an output connector and not an input.

I am not sure why you asked for the information about the connector. Perhaps you want to connect the CV64/3D video signal internally to a video switcher/scandoubler from a different brand? I think it would be possible to find the connections by following the board layout. There are some diodes near the VGA connector which are probably connected to the RGB signals, and I think the HSYNC and VSYNC are directly connected to the same signals as the VGA connector. So that way the signals can be determined by checking the board itself.

I have a dead scandoubler for it. it does not display anything, and (IIRC) it wouldn't even pass through the RTG modes (jumpers set correctly). but the 'main' output works. the VGA connector on SD is a bit 'chopped'. so, I was only hoping it was a simple connection problem and wanted to trace/check the RGB lines.

BTW, that idea you had could still be useful for people with only that scandoubler (if they exist!) and some other gfx card.
Better sorry than worry.

Principally CV3D scandoubler should work w/o CV3D in a video slot - it just outputs the scandoubled video modes. On the other side CV3D works with other scandoublers with right connectors - I have it connected into Eyetech scandoubler/flickerfixer/AutoMon switcher combo.

How did you connect a non CV3D scan doubler to the CV3D card? I have an internal Micronik Scandy scan doubler and would love to be able to connect it to the CV3D.

Amiga 4000, Warp Engine 040/40MHz, CV643D with scan doubler module, Tocatta soundcard, Deneb, 72Meg fast ram, 18 gig scsi hard drive.

The output from CV64/3D is 10pin IDC and connects to VGA like this adapter:

I thought you would also need a switcher as the CV3D does not have one that I know of like the reqular CV has.

Eyetech did produce purpose built automatic switchers for CV3D.

    The pinout for the internal scandoubler connector on the CV64/3D might be different from that used by the CVPPC, as pin 10 is used to control the native/RTG switch on the scandoubler.

    That said, I really don't get why they didn't put the video switcher on the card itself. It would've made a lot more sense design-wise. At least the pin 10 output can be used to control certain types of third-party monitor switchers.

I've used the same 10pin IDC to 15pin VGA converters for all cards I have, PicassoII+,CV64/3D, CVPPC, PIV, Voodoo3 when connected to Eyetech monitor switchers. At best I had 3 cards available at the same time - lots of screenmodes on Picasso96Mode...
