Commodore One when?
« on: September 02, 2003, 07:03:59 AM »
Hi,

What's up with the Commodore One? The site http://c64upgra.de/c-one/ is offline. Does anyone know how the status is of this machine? When will it finally come out?

According to the news on I.C.'s website, it was supposed to be released in May... Perhaps you might drop Jens a note asking about it.

Mac Mini 1.5GHz, that might run MorphOS someday, when the fools who own it come to the realization that 30 minutes just isn\'t enough time to play with it enough to decide whether or not you like it enough to cough up $200.

They recently reported on some progress on the mailing list, so the release is getting closer. I'm sure you can't miss it once they get the boards out! :-)

If you want to know more, go to yahoo groups and browse the commodoreone list archives.

I would say so. ;-)

I saw all the other posts too. It was not about my question at all anymore. Anyway I got mail from Jens and it seems everything is just fine. And that was what I wanted to know.

I do feel sorry for some people that posted which made such a long mail.

Hi Coder, this is where to get WinVice, or you could source yourself an Amiga C64 emu to play it.

here... http://viceteam.bei.t-online.de/

The other day in some thread, someone posted a different link for it that had WarGames for download aswell but I can't seem to find it right now.
anyways... Have fun.

Edit> OK I found it here... http://www.mmhart.com/downloads.htm

And don't forget... JOSHUA

Heh.  Ol' redrum nuked it from orbit all right!

Ah well.  Hopefully monkey boy got a chance to read it and buy a clue.

If not...

There's plenty more opportunities!

(BTW Red, there's not a copy of the message in a database or anything is there?)

Interesting how we could go on a nostalgia trip with these unique systems!! (+ Atari 520 ST, Spectrum, Apple II, etc., etc.)

But I wonder.....
I don't go to pc boards, do people reminisce about that oh so special 286/386, ms-dos 3.1/4.0 or sound/graphics card over there? Do ya think?

AmigaOne! :-D Even though Amigas set us back so many dollars, oh those memories!  :-D
\\"Which would you buy? The Crappy A1200, 15 years out of date... or the Mobile Phone that I have?\\" -- bloodline
So I guess that A500, 600, 1000, 2000, CDTV, CD32, are pure garbage then? Thanks for posting here.
