WTB: A600 RAM Upgrades
« on: November 19, 2008, 10:33:44 AM »
Greetings,

Having just received my A600, I would like to up her specs a bit. I'm looking to buy an A601/2 or equivilant as well as a 4MB SRAM PCMCIA card or something else that will give me some fast ram. For those who don't know me, I'm in Melbourne, Australia and I will accept internation offers from reputable members.

Cheers,

Adz

Take a look  http://www.amigasc.nm.ru/
This people create 4/8 mb fastram for a600.
I already have this module, and it work very good.
I can use 4mb fast + pcmcia network (or cdrom).

Latest version is better - you can switch between mode:
- 8mb without pcmcia
- 4mb and working pcmcia.

Thanks, will look into it. Anyone else had experience with one of these boards and/or this particular retailer?

Yes retailer a bit lazy, and spend many time for researching and creating new hardware for ZX Spectrum clones.
He sell few boards here in Russia, and I see people in local forums, who use same boards well.

My board arrived in record time. The price was amazing, even with the resurgence of the dollar. The only slight hiccup was payment as there is no PayPal in Russia but the UK can pay at any PostOffice using MoneyGram for only £4.99 surcharge.

The board is the best there is and almost certainly the last for the A600 assuming the Jen Schoenfeld A630 never sees the light of day.

Only good.  The expansion fits easily, and works perfectly.  Great product, great quality.

This is my girlfriend with the 8 (6) MB fast and 1 MB chip addon from Amigakit.
