Would it actually work if you loaded everything up on it like a real A4000?

Sine when did prototypes have Kickstart 3.1?

And does the CPU card have a 68020 & 881 & MMU?

Eeeer, since prototypes aren't ever sold who can say what they come with? There are no specs for prototypes, they are for testing and at times demoing. Looking at the pictures you can tell it was not for demo. For all we know it didn't have roms and they were added by the C= employee who brought it home. The motherboard is rev1.0, the CPU card is an A3200 rev1.0, the faceplate is black. This is a prototype.

68020 and 6882.

Click here for a big pic.

At second glance this is a weird dual CPU board with both 020 and 030!

It is a A3200/A3400 :-?  weird.

The top right corner drivebay also looks non a4000 like.  seems indeed to be some kind of prototype.  The triple AAA board that I have seen with Dave Haynie, also was that color.

That CPU card is not rare or special.  They were released with some A3000T's and A4000 030 systems.  I have one in my A4000/030.  They are 030 cards, but had provisions for 020 I guess...
