I notice that you have the lyra on ebay. Do you know if it will work with a KVM?

I've never tried it, but I cannot see a reason why not.

The lyra is pretty good.
edit: I'm sure I've read somewhere that it works with KVM switches. Haven't tried that myself though.

The first version didn't support the multimedia keys of a PC keyboard.

Jens Schoenfeld made a second version called Lyra II.
This version supports the multimediakeys too. It uses the MMKeyboard software.

I don't know if Red has the new version in stock, but Vesalia does.

arnljot: sorry to hear about your bad experience. fortunately, I've traded with many people in the Amiga community and have only had positive experiences. Many I have sent, cheques to and had no "protection" whatsoever, but thankfully all have delivered. It's sad to hear of one rotten apple spoiling the cart

Anyway, I just wanted to ask...it looks like you paid this cretin via PayPal. I don't know if your PayPal account purchases are linked to your credit card but if they are and it is a VISA card then you are covered for this. All you have to do is phone your CC company and explain to them what has happened and ask them about issuing a "Chargeback" or compensation by some other means.

All CC purchases are covered, even between private individuals and through PayPal...at least here in the UK. So it might be worth looking into.

They were reported to be ready 6th of november, but I guess there will be a little wait.

I know. I've worked with banks and CC-companies many years :-/ But it's a pain to file a chargeback, because according to PP rules, the 20 day period is long gone to file a dispute.

And if I file one with my CC-company, I'll get in trouble with PP and get problems using it with others later on.

That's what sucks with PP...
