Max mem on a BlizzardPPC?
« on: August 29, 2003, 08:17:52 PM »
Hi amigans....

I'd like to put 256 MB of RAM on my BPPC board but I have no reference about what's the max memory it can take. Does anyone use 256 MB ram on this kind of accel?

Cheers

Yep, it will take 256MB (2x128MB Simms)

So will the Blizzard 1260/1240 if you have the SCSI kit addon.

...but not Blizzard 1230-I, 1230-II or 1230-III.

Only Blizzard 1230-IV has the option for SCSI Kit with SIMM slot.
