Amiga hardware for sale.
« on: October 28, 2008, 02:02:06 AM »
I've finally decided to pull the trigger and part ways with some of my Amiga hardware.  I'm looking for US Buyers.  I'm just too lazy to deal with customs paperwork.

1) Amiga 4000D Computer.  Battery removed and no damage to MB.  Socketed Buster 11.  Fully populated motherboard memory.  Commodore 3640 V3.1 040 (all backward capacitors have been replaced).  HD floppy Drive and CDROM.  A4000 keyboard and mouse.  3.1 ROMS 4GB IDE HD

Case is pretty clean with little to no yellowing.  Keyboard has a little yellowing.  System works fine.

-$250 + Shipping from Wisconsin USA

2) GVP A530 040 Accelerator. 4MB RAM.  1GB Quantum Empire SCSI Hard Drive.  Drive is actually brand new (old stock) from an Apple Dealer that was clearing it out.  GVP power supply included.

Case is in good condition and looks fine.  Works great, but can be a little touchy getting a good connection between my A500 and the A530.

-$175 + Shipping from Wisconsin USA

3) Amiga 2000 Computer.  IVS Vektor 25Mhz 030 w/8MB.  4GB 7200RPM SCSI DRIVE.  Microway Flicker fixer w/9ping to 15pin VGA adapter.  32X CDROM.  2.1 ROMS.  Keyboard and Mouse.  Battery removed with no damage to MB.  Floppy Drive in good condition. 1MB Agnus installed.

Oldie but goodie.  Works fine.  Case is in good condition.  Keyboard (cherry brand) is yellowed but clean.

-$175 + Shipping (Note:I would consider selling both the Flicker fixer and Vektor board for $150 to save you on shipping.)

PM sent for the A4000. Might end up being a local sale too  :-)

BTW: just caught the "backwards resistors have been replaced" bit. Resistors are not normally polarised. Do you mean diodes or capacitors? Was there a known issue with 3640 boards at one time?

Ah yes, I quick 'yahoo search' reveals some electrolytic caps were installed backwards, causing their acidic juices to leak out. Much like an old battery.

Thanks for the correction.  You are correct, it's the capacitors that were replaced.

I also have an extra working 25Mhz 3630 board that I'll throw in with the A4000.
