Blue color cycle when starting A1260

Besides being up the creek, what does the screen cycling from dark blue to bright blue mean when powering an A1200 with Blizzard 1260?
If I take out the Blizzard1260, the computer starts up fine.

The blue cycle let's you know that your A1260 is active.

Well, at least that's active. I was hoping that would explain why my computer won't start with the A1260 in. A solid blue screen means that there's a Custon Chip error, so I figured that it might mean some custom chip on the A1260 board died.
