Anyone interested in a turnkey A1200 system?
« on: October 11, 2008, 12:58:31 AM »
I was grooming this A1200 to be my own personal system, but, errrrm, I got something better on the way  Anyhow, this is how it currently sits.

Nice non-yellowed flat NTSC A1200 w/ KS3.1
GVP Jaws (030/40 with Optional 68882@40Mhz installed), 4MB included (32MB Max)
Indivision installed with SVGA connector mounted permanently in the rear in custom mount
Dataflyer 1200 SCSI+
Dataflyer XDS (external HD w/tiny HD installed)
Tiny internal HD with OS3.1 installed
Power supply
Newer style Commodore mouse (slightly flakey)

This system is plug and go! The only thing slightly flakey is the mouse. It works fine most of the time, but on rare occasion doesn't work until unplugged and plugged back in.

How does $325 + shipping sound? If paid tonight, ships tomorrow.
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

Nice... Wish I had the money.
Oh, wait. I already have one. Just have to get the new floppy installed.

Good price though.

How big are the harddrives?

What could be better than a cherry A1200?

The hard drives are tiny. The internal one is 150MB and the dataflyer XDS is 50MB iirc. The nice this about the XDS is it is external and accomidates a standard IDE so you can put whatever you want in it. I had planned on installing a CF card & adapter to replace the internal HD but never got around to it.

I think the price is fair, the Indivision is more than half the price of the whole system. If it isn't sold to by Saturday, I'll just part it out and eBay it in 2 weeks.
