Does your Amiga 2000 have an Amtrade HD disk drive?

Does your Amiga 2000 have an Amtrade HD disk drive?  If not, what kind of a high-density disk drive do you use?  What is the make and model number of the disk drive?

I have no Amiga 2000, and just a Amiga 1200, since 2000 is like stuck and would costs arse loads for matching an Amiga 1200. But like I was saying.

I have some High-Density Drive on mine, and works fine as of today.  WOuld have to reopen it to see what kind it is.

Mine!  :-D

I've been using a AmTrade HD floppy in my A4000 for over three years. No problems.

I ONLY want to know about what Amiga 2000 owners have in their machines!  I know that Amiga 4000s and the toy Amiga 1200s have HD disk drives, but that is NOT what I am interested in.  I want to know what kind of HD disk drives people are using in the Flagship of all Amigas, the Amiga 2000.

I am very interested in this posting too.. I have an A1200Hd that needs a new floppy.

Do the Amtrade drives work?

I used to have an Applied Engineering High Density Amiga floppy in my old A2000 HD. It's not compatible with the 1.76 amiga format but it was a cool and highly engineered drive.

And of course the flagship of all Amiga computers isn't the 2000HD (well unless you are in Beaverton, Oregon maybe) it is none other than my 25 Mhz 3000 Desktop..  :-D

What is this, a joke?  You're not going to get very many helpful replies writing like this!

The forums are for everybody to post in, if you create a thread, you will likely get some (in your eyes) off-topic replys ... live with it    :-)
