UK Amiga User Group and Club?

Hi all

This idea has been talked about on EAB and I was hoping to get an idea of demand for such a group / club. If you are in the UK and would join such a group / club then please add yourself to this Frappr/Platial map:

There is and I was hoping to attend the next LAG meeting but it was cancelled. This is a National idea and part of the idea was to try and help unite the local groups and create a National event for everyone to get together at (once a year maybe?). But also being a user group in its own right. Maybe members of local groups get reduced member fees or something as an incentive to join both? Just ideas at the moment but I'm not willing to put time and effort into something that isn't going to appeal to enough people.

I see how well Pianeta Amiga went and the excitement about AmiWest and wish we had something in the UK.

The LAG meeting has a new date of Saturday 11th October  :-)

We were forced to cancel before due to Venue issues, but hopefully these have all been resolved now.

Good idea for a national get-together though, I think most folks from LAG are going to the MAG Bash on the 1st November in Coventry.

VEGNAcore - there's ANT (Amiga North Thames) In Enfield, I believe they have a meeting soon also.

Amiga North Thames is having its next meeting on Sunday 12th October, 1:pm to 5:pm.

We will have A4000's A1200T's & A1's on the day, plus of course, the UK's first look at a SAM440EP running OS4.1. Live and in your face :-D
