Hm, well, the CPU is missing and it has also only 1.5 MB chip ram (there is a chip missing too).

Eeer, how do you figure? It is missing ROMS (two).

Nice catch, that pisses me off. I paid for all "new" boards. I've got to send this back to my source for a refund. I also gotta check each item closer now..

Anyhow, listing is updated with another board in the lot.

I'm guessing you have changed the pictures?

So was it just one out of the batch that was wmissing some chips?

That is correct, I have changed the pictures. I've checked the others in the batch and they have all chips, minus ROMS.

I've decided to just dump the board that is missing CPU and RAM, see HERE. Maybe someone has SMD skills wants a shot at it.

I think I'd grab a set of ROMs and do a quick test on these boards to give buyers some confidence in them.  ~$100 is a good amount of money to ask for an untested "new" item without a guarantee, while a $32 item like an A500 is getting tested.

I'm thinking the same thing.I think this was just an oversight, as my source had a stellar reputation. I'm looking for roms atm to test.

I just sold the last of the other stock, the only one left is the one on eBay fixed price with offer option. If I don't get an offer by tonight I will probably convert it to a 7 day auction.

@Redrumloa

Of course you come up with a good soldering project when I'm flat broke! I have two DOA A1200 boards I could snatch the CPU off of for that funky board.

Mac Mini 1.5GHz, that might run MorphOS someday, when the fools who own it come to the realization that 30 minutes just isn\'t enough time to play with it enough to decide whether or not you like it enough to cough up $200.
