 Yes, play a mod or use the floppy drive. Paula manage those two areas.

does paula control the external floppy drive as well
also could you direct me to asite where Imight find a how to fit slim or ulta thin non scsi cd drive into an a1200

 Yes. Try English Amiga Board, in the problems/hardware/hardware pics/ you will find some very nice A600/1200 with SFF and slot-loading mounted internally. Also check this very forum on the "images" link on top of the page.:roll:
