I want to sell my extrem upgraded Amiga 1200 PowerPC/68060 Machine.

It is housed in the original Desktop case an has a lot of extras.

Here are some older pictures:

http://david.linuxprofessionals.org/diverses/Amiga/Amiga1200/

Inside: (got now more RAM, older picture)

The A1200 was build with:

-A1200 Desktop Computer
-DCE Flicker Magic Flicker Fixer
-IDEFix Express
-Slimline IDE CD-ROM
-Blizzard PPC 240 MHZ /68060 50MHz Turbocard (no SCSI) 68060 and crystals socketed (!) -> Overclockers Dream
-2 x 128 MB EDO RAM = 256 MB now (some pictures show only 1x 128 Mb) !)
-40 GB 2,5" Notebook HD
-BVision 8 MB Grafix (Permedia 2 Chip)
-cooler and fans
-250 Watt PSU
-no HF Modulator -> Flicker Fixer output
-Mainboard with "Power Fix" for a better Voltage to the Turboboard
-VGA Switchbox  ( BVision or Flickerfixer to VGA display)

OS3.9 +Games and OS4 is installed (german) for testing but no original CDs belong to my offer.
The machine is running very well.

The last update was a second 128 MB RAM and now the machine has 256 MB !
Picture:

I build a mixer wire and a connector to mix Paula audio and CD sound.

My Amiga 1200 is not a silent PC because it has some fans but it has the most possible power for an A1200 and is housed in the original Desktop case (!).

I paid a lot for it and because of that I want exactly:

1200 Euro for the machine.

Amiga is located in Berlin, Germany.
Payment only via IBAN/BIC or local pickup and cash. Insured shipping  to Europe/World will cost some extra Euros
NO PAYpal, sorry !

Yes it does look like a really nice machine! I would just hate to think that OS4 was being included as a "backup".....

No there is nothing destroyed.

Machine is booting from DH1: OS3.9 and if you change the bootpriority with HD-Toolbox it boots up from dh0: with OS4.0 Classic.

There are a lot of games installed...

What I wanted to tell is that I will keep the original CDs because I have some other (PPC) Amigas.
If you prefer a blank HD, no problem I can clean it before shipping ...

And yes I own an original OS4 CD and I´m a registered OS4 Classic user.

I'm sure you mean well in that you want the buyer to be able to test the machine, but I'm afraid that providing the machine with OS4 installed and keeping the registered copy on your own machine is illegal. And we're not talking about some ancient game here - OS4 is for sale by Amiga dealers now.

Furthermore, if you have "other PPC Amigas" you really should have an OS4 CD for EACH of those Amigas.  (Installing OS4 on several Amigas with only one CD is piracy/illegal)

OK some of you here don´t want to understand:

I own OS4, OS3.9 and I own some Amigas.

OS3.9 and OS4 ist installed to show that this machine is working very well.

If somebody wants this machine and will pick it up her localy I will show you some stuff running one the Amiga.
After that the Harddrive will be formated.

If the machine is shipped to somewhere everything is deleted before shipping.

And now please stop writing these piracy b-u-l-l-s-h-i-t.

Ok, maybe if you had made that clear from the start then there wouldn't have been a need to say anything. From your initial posts it seemed that you were going to ship it with OS4 installed and keep a copy for yourself.

Has no-one got anything better to do?

Since we are checking for possible copyright infringement acts, please could everyone list the contents of their harddisks.

about the Amiga. Nice, but 1200 euros ? im not sure it is worth that (but maybe to someone). Anything can happen in Amiga land.

Often when the subject of piracy (usually of old games) comes up on this forum, the argument is presented that it's probably ok to do it since the software in question is no longer available to buy. "Nobody's sales are being harmed as a result of copying the files".

In this case, there was a misunderstanding that the OP was going to sell an Amiga with software (OS4) which has very recently been released, is still for sale, and the piracy of which would actually harm the market for Amiga software and reduce the profits of the developers.

That's why I commented.

Yeh of course. Well we are all eternally greatfull for you pointing this out.. Well done and thanks.

There are a few other sales going on here. I think you should verify that all the software with them is properly licensed. Otherwise I won't be able to sleep.

Buzz, dont be obtuse. The implication was initially quite strong that it was going to be left on the HD. It wasnt unreasonable to question that.
