Game Music and sound ripping under classic and WinUAE
« on: September 14, 2008, 07:40:10 PM »
Hello,

I have some Original Classic game and I would like to rip the music and sound FX from them.

What is the best solution under Classic and WinUAE to perform that kind of operation (Action Replay, Exotic Ripper or Pro-Wizard?)

Thanks to share your own experience

1st thing you should do is check

http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/UnExoticA

to see if you're song isn't already ripped and available ;)

I used Exotic ripper, Pro-Wizard and JTR; they supplement each other.

@Stevo

Thanks for your answer

I know UnExoticA website (and some more)

But I have some old Amiga rare games that I want to rip for the community.

I know Exotic Ripper, Pro-Wizard but not JTR

I will google for it.

So it's always better to rip mods from the DISK than directly from the memory (maybe altered).

Better to use IPF from CAPS than some hacked games in ADF format.
