Ok I have patitioned the cf card or at least one of them the other one has one big partition and works just fine
so far anyway all I have to do now is some how transfer my soft ware onto at least one card.most 15 years old I almost all of the discs and that would be easy enough to slowly sit and load it all up is there an easier way if so how.

Cheap and easy, not extremely fast (although most of the time faster than floppy disks): nullmodem cable connected to the serial port.
Much faster, less easy and more expensive: ethernetcard and connecting it to your network.
