Hi guys just thought I would write a small report on how the Mag Bash went.
Me and my dad arrived at the church hall at 2pm. We saw a rather nice Mag Bash banner with a boing ball in the background.
I was very suprised to see how many people where there. The room was rammed full of people and I would say about 25/30 people at the start and then the number grew to about 35/40. (dunno if my estimation is correct

)
Instantly to my right I noticed an Amigaone which also ran os 3.9. As I moved around the room I saw a Sam440 running Os 4.1 and next to that a Morphos Machine (not sure what machine and what version of Morphos). I then noticed a nice A2000 and C64s.
I then saw the MAG table and they had an AmigaOne, Amiga a1200 PPC with amigasys 4 and a load of stuff for sale from MrNiceGuy. Next to them was Hyperion with Sam440 and Os 4.1 on a big lcd monitor and a rather nice custom built case.
Next to them was amigakit with loads of great s\tuff for sale ( I brought a mouse adapter).
In the middle of the room they had a buy and build table where a sam440 was being put into a case. Also next to that table TheDaddy was showing off his wonderfull minimig cases.
I setup in a corner helping Swoop install Amikit. I was running it on a EEE PC which drew some intrest. I stayed until 5.30pm as it was so great

(my girlfriend was a bit mad

)
As all this was going on Metal dust was being played on a projected screen from a c64 with supercpu

which was very impressive. Then we had a demo of os 4.1 by hyperion which was great. Pity they could not get the net working so we could not see owb in action.
Then we had a showing off the allegro games engine. Ported games like sonic and other classic titles where playing. It was finally raffle with top prize a sam440!
This was a great event and I returned home with my hands full. I brought a mouse adapter from amikit. I brought a midi interface, A1200 8mb expantion card plus some nice cds from MAG. Everybody I met was really friendly and great people. Thanks so much MAG and MrNiceGuy for holding such a possitive and sucessfull event. My dad filmed it all so our video should be online sometime next week.
