@a1000

Welcome a1000, you'll find a very nice group of people here.  All kinds of folks, all willing to help fellow Amigan's as best they can.  My love right now is an A2000, '060/50 Blizzard, CV64-3D card, 128MB ram, 4Gig HD, CDrom drive, all under OS3.9 (BB2). Also an A3000 w/3.1 and a Retina card, And still have my original A1000 with a whopping 512K of ram and external floppy drive.  Guess I really do have a problem......Regards....Art

I've had a few over the years, but since 91 I have used this A3000 and added lots to it.

A3000D in Elbox Mirage Tower
Mediator 3000 PCI
Cyberstorm MK III 060/50 128MB (getting my CSPPC 060/233 back from the black hole soon I'm told)
Voodoo 3, 3000
SB 128, Forte MEdia 801-AU, SB 4.1 Digital Audio cards. (Using the FM801-AU now)
TrendNET 10/100 Ethernet
Catweasel MK II
Maxtor 60GB HD, Samsung 44X CD-ROM, two Sony 1.44MB drives using Catweasel/Keywalda.

I have a PC too, but my wife uses it more then I do. I've tried to use my Amiga for everything. There isnt much it cant do.
Proud Retired Navy Chief!

A4000T - CSPPC - Mediator
Powerbook G4 15", 17"
Powermac G5 2GHZ

My system is in my tagline, but it also has a 4xEIDE interface with a 40x CD drive and a ZIP 100 attached.  And a modem, monitor, mouse, etc...

It's painted blue and green.

I've had my A1200 for over 10 years now, and other than an A500 it's the only computer I've ever owned.

Haven't thought about this in a while...

To be rescued (recently replaced at my parents' house, by a P4 :-( ) :

A500 0.5Mb + 0.5Mb Slot Exp. + some solder = 1Mb Chip RAM, 3Mb real Fast RAM, 100Mb SCSI HDD, 2 DD FDDs, CDTV compatible CD-ROM (if you sacrifice the A520 (HD+3Mb RAM), OS1.3/2.04 (switchable, space for OS3.x).

So, I could then mix that with those back here, currently Out to Stud (lying in a box):

A500 OS1.3, 2 DD FDD, 0.5Mb Chip, 0.5Mb Slow.

And suddenly the possibility for two extra monitors for my main Amiga (Skidmarks, anyone?  The game, I mean ;-) ):

A1200, Blizzard 1230/SCSI@50MHz 68882, 2Mb Chip, 64Mb Fast, 1Gb SCSI HDD, 250Mb IDE (I miss my 8Gb...), PCMCIA Ethernet card, 8xSCSI CD-ROM, DD FDD, HD FDD, 56K Modem, Cable Modem (if I can get Miami to logon, else I'm stuck with a P2 166).

I also have a few other nick-knacks, and probably some I've forgotten...:

4 Player adapter (parallel)
8-bit sampler
Mouse/Joystick switcher
CD-32, 2 Joypads
Dead 1942, woe is me!  Living with 1084S (thank heaven's for huge, scrolling desk-tops with little Workbench windows (not "Backdrop"ed))
Tower cases, SCSI CD-ROMS (doing something about that whilst my savings continue to mount...)

Its not the greatest...

...no, wait, what am I saying :-P .

Thousands of dollars of legacy software and hardware.  The council still use it for their train time-tables, though TAB and Keno recently moved PC...

This is your last chance.  Do something about it.

See sig below!  My A3000 is my main machine, I also have a mint
condition A600 waiting for a 1 Mb ram card and 2.5 hard drive.

Trying to set up samba network to my P150, 48 Mb ram, 256k
pipeline, 2Mb 3d pci gfx, 427 and 540 Mb hard drive, 4x cd, 52x24x52x
cr-rw, scsi HP5p scanner running w95.

The pc is used for cd burning and image scanning untill I can get the
scanner running on the 3000 and I find a scsi cd-r :-)  I'd much
rather run everything on the Amiga!

1)  A4000 (D), CSMkII 060, 128M RAM, Video Toaster/Flyer.  Still running 3.0 as I haven't got around to sourcing 3.1 ROM's.  Dedicated video workstation.

2) A3000T/040, 16M RAM, I/OExtender, LanRover EB920, PhonePak, HD floppy (with correct A3000 eject button, no less!).  Running 3.5.  My "main" general-purpose Amiga.  Hope to use it to run home automation as well in the future, it's already up 24/7/365 for the PhonePak.

3) A3000 (D), was replaced by the A3000T, now backup/parts machine.  Also was running 3.5.

4) A2000, my first Amiga.  No accelerator, but has Xetec SCSI hard-card, SupraRAM 2000 with 8M, and MegaChip mod.  Also has ROM switcher, for 1.3/2.1.  Mostly used now for Toaster support, hosts the TBC and VScope cards that don't fit in the A4000.  (I may be getting an A4000T from an ex-Amigan, in which case the A4000 (D) and this machine will both become "spares.")

5)  CDTV, with external floppy & keyboard, plus genlock card.  Yes, it's my primary CD player!

Plus an ancient 486 PC, my wife's Pentium166, and a newly-acquired HP laptop for school (required to run WinXP Pro).  Oh, and an 8086 IBM "portable" and an Osborne.  Got a couple Atari 800's in the basement too.
