whats the spec of your Amiga .

I do miss my A4000
Best spec Amiga I have at the moment is A1200 with 1GB HD and CDrom but need to get an accelerator in it.My Fav amiga would have to be the A1000 which I first brought one in approx 1992  and have just got hold of one again. So am looking around for all the old infomation on this machine.(got a memory upgrade from my original one but the motherboards are different so need help installing it in new A1000 as new machine does'nt have the daughter board)

Sorry the original post was meant to go here

Do you use an x86 based machine?

Didnt mean to offend anyone

AND ????
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

@a1000

Welcome to A.org :-)

Don't worry about pressing "post new thread" instead of "reply" - a lot of people have done it ;-)

My A1200:

030 accelerator (cannot remember what speed - I'll have a look)
250Mb HDD
4x CD-ROM
External floppy drive
KS 3.0

As you can see, it's hardly the best set-up around, which is why it's a secondary computer to my x86 box :-(  Hopefully an A1 should change that though :-)

Main system.
A4000D C/Storm MKII 040/40 with CyberSCSI and 64mb, 2gb IDE HD,2gb+4gb scsi HD, scsi CD-R, IDE Zip drive, Ariadne II network,CV64 gfx,Highway USB,HyperCom3..soon to be towered as it`s cramped and ruddy hot!

MP3 jukebox.
A1200 Apollo 040/28 ,32mb,Elb*x 4way IDE splitter,4GB IDE drive, 4 disc CD changer,2GB IDE in a removable cradle,CN40BC net, MAS-Player,Silversurfer,4*20 LCD display and that Infrared gizmo that came with CU mag!

Also got another 1200 with Apollo 030/50 another Elb*x IDE splitter, and 16mb,scsi CD,500mb IDE(not even 50% full after all these years) and PCMCIA net..nicknamed "Old Crashy" cos it loves to randomly reboot.

Non amiga wise, I`ve got one of those PC thingies which hopefully will soon get replaced by a PPC machine, although I`m not sure which one yet.
On schedule, and suing
