Emulators for A1 & OS4 anyone?
« on: August 24, 2003, 01:53:04 PM »
There's an emulator for almost everything somewhere: Spectrum, C64, MAster System, SNES, Megadrive, Gameboys, Sega Saturn, Playstation, Dreamcast, PCs, Macs, Amigas, even ancient calculators. Any i've missed? . . . Sky box emulation? Who knows.

As you can see, I am more interested in the gaming kind of emulating (Me & eBay are like THAT ;-))

Does anyone know what emulator plans we have for A1 & OS4 yet? Is anyone working on any?

FuZion.

@FuZion

I know that MAME-MOS is up to date and rocks!! I'd be willing to bet when OS4 is realesed MAME will be the first emulator to get updated. MAME is essential to a platform.

Now to get Frodo working on my Peggy:-)
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

Hi!

Some info about Emulators on OS 4:

- gbe is already working on OS 4 (Thanks to
  Mathias Roslund for the Source Code - only
  around 2 kb source-changes were needed to
  make it work on OS 4 :) )
- WarpSNES and AmiGenerator ports are "in
  progress", though I cannot promise when I will
  find the time to continue to work on those
- The author of WarpMAME is one of the OS 4
  Betatesters, so I would not be too surprised if
  he'd have some surprise for us sooner or later :)

@Steffen

That's a nice start even before OS4 is here.

Do you know if it's GBA as well or old school GB ;-)

I've only ever had 68k so have never been able to use the SNES & Megadrive emulators, a new toy already.

If you need a beta tester I'd be glad to help where I can.

(Now for a Death Tank Zwei emulator :-D & if you don't know this game I suggest you find out)
