Co-operative 2-Player Games
«

I'm always on the look out for good co-operative 2-player games.
Obviously there's the Alien Breed series, the Gauntlets, Settlers, Pang, Chaos Engine, and Bloodwych.
Can anyone recommend any other good titles?

You could play Worms in cooperative mode against the CPU or another team of people. What a great game! :-)
Guardian has a 2-Player mode, but I don't know if it's cooperative.
There's also Gloom and Quake (over a network)
The Lemmings 2-Player mode is fun. Though not cooperative, both players do play simultaneously.
That's all I can think of.

Sigh...I miss Lemmings. I used to love making them all explode. :-o

I think Banshee is one of the greatest! Great gameplay and it's awesome looking too. :-)

I always found level 1 of Tricky to be especially good for blowing up Lemmings. :-D

I'd recommend Ghost Recon or Operation Flashpoint
(but I am somewhat of a bloodthirsty warmonger type)
Oh yeah, Amiga titles, oops I forgot

I always loved Swiv and Silkworm... Great shoot 'm ups, but for a shoot 'm up that can really be played co-operative try Blasteroids and join both ships..

Banshee is one of the best ones, yes!
Try AlienBreed3D (or sequel) over nullmodem with 2 machines:)

I think you could play Smash TV with 2 joysticks.. One person controls the walk and the other the guns...
Project X is nice when one person controls the craft and the other person controls the weapon upgrades.
Roadkill.. One person drives the other shoots..
Walker.. One person walks the other shoots..

Hi,
Maybe I'm just blind, but I'm still missing:
- Garrison (Gauntlet clone)
- Rodland (sort of Bubble Bobble but with cute little elves)
- Hired Guns (up to 4 player in co-op mode)
Bye HAK
