Spreadsheet recommendations
« on: August 15, 2008, 08:09:18 PM »
We had the word processor thread, which I found very interesting. I was wondering if people could weigh in with thoughts on Amiga spreadsheet programs?

I've toyed with Advantage, Final Calc, and I think Platinum Works...

I've not seen/used maxicalc, interoffice/calc, professional calc, unicalc, or analyze etc...

just looking for some opinions and such.. (I'm not replacing excel anytime soon). Any of use still use any Amiga SS software?

Being a supporter of Softwood products, I bought the whole line and have used Final Calc many times.  I served my needs well, but then I am not a heavy-duty user of spreadsheets, so if it has many deficiencies I would not know about them.

I have also used Advantage previously.  It was okay if you don't mind the 1.3 looking interface.  I have TurboCalc and Analyze, but have not used them yet.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)
