Upgrade to Kickstart 3.1
« on: August 08, 2008, 09:41:04 PM »
Hi all

My order of a set of Kickstart 3.1 ROMs is on its way from America. One of the reasons for purchase is so that I can install my new buddha card which when installing the software states I need at least Amiga DOS 2.04. My question is will I need Workbench 3.1 installed on my hard drive before I can install the software or will the 3.1 ROMs be enough while running Workbench 2.0 (v36.68)?

Thanks

Chris

You can run WB2.0 on 3.1 ROMS, probably would work fine with the buddha software.
3 Commodore file cabinets, 2 Commodore USB turntables, 1 AmigaWorld beer mug
Alienware M14x i7 laptop running AmigaForever

Yes I guessed it would boot and work ok was just wondering whether I would still need the newer workbench disks to get the buddha software installed and working as well?
