Poseidon 4.1 & Olympus DVR WS-300M Problems
« on: August 03, 2008, 10:50:22 PM »
Poseidon 4.1 can't seem to mount my Olympus Digital Voice Recorder model WS-300M.

I'm running it in my NTSC A1200 w/AmigaOS 3.9+BB2 & an E3B Subway USB controller.

I had to select Emulate larger block size to get rid of one error.

I'd like to know what else I need to do to get it recognized & mounted on my system.

Here's the error.log:

I'm sure you would be far better off mentioning this on the Highway/Subway Yahoo group, as Chris hodges does read there and answers many queries.

But, from what little I can determine, it seems as though your voice recorder is being recognised as a Camera?

Thanks for your reply.

It seems that FAT95 was looking at the file system as if it were an Olympus camera of some sort.

As far as Poseidon, I was thinking that I might not have the device configured correctly.

I hope Chris Hodges reads this posting, as I'd hate to copy my posting to that Y! group, which I haven't, but should've joined a long time ago.
